Our Student Participation Program expands the Peninsula Chamber Musicians community to enable advanced student musicians the opportunity to join with the orchestra in suitably pitched repertoire in our November concert. This program was created in 2022 by cellist and teacher Megan Smithies and has become a highlight of our calendar. The program is a natural fit for Peninsula Chamber Musicians given the orchestra is made up of professional musicians who also work as professional music teachers in our community.
In 2024 Students have the opportunity to perform Mascagni's Intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana. Applications open in August for students of grade 5 standard and above. Click below to register your interest.
